Parker expressed that her son William had no idea about it. But yet he welcomed her adopted sister with open arms. In fact he was glad that now he had someone with whom he can enjoy his games. She said that she can never forget her son’s cooperation on this unforeseen twist in their life.

44 years old, extremely gorgeous American Actress and very famous television series, Weeds star Mary Louise Parker is again a hot topic to discuss these days as she told that she had her sights set on adopting a baby since she was just a little girl. Mary saw it as her responsibility to aid out the world’s poor. The actress went to Africa in the year 2007 and adopted a baby girl, named Caroline ‘Ash’ Aberash who is now a sister for her five year old son William, from her relationship with actor Billy Crudup.
Mary acknowledged that she always knew she would open her house and her heart to an orphan as she set adoption as an aim early on in her life. In this regard she said, “I would daydream about it all the time. I thought about the fact that there were children who didn’t have anything, and I felt like I could help. It was something that weighed on me.”

Mary also said, “Adopting Aberash was something I did for the world and for my son and then for me. And when I say the world, I also mean my daughter. Once I knew her, she became part of that.”
On the other hand, single Mary Louise Parker admitted that it was not easy to juggle motherhood with her acting career. She added, “It’s hard raising two kids as a single person, it’s a lot of pressure.”
I was not aware of this side of Mary’s nature, but now when I have become aware of her thoughts, I am very impressed with her. And I really admire her for her this act of kindness towards humanity. There are very few celebrities who have as nice attitude as Mary Louise Parker has.

Yup you understood right, I am talking about our favorite American television series Weeds. The show is doing a fantastic job and all the fans of the show are quite satisfied with it. I am personally a great fan of the show.

On June29, 2009 I watched the latest episode, Super Lucky Happy, of Weeds and trust me it was superb. After that I decided to gather information about the next episode of this happening television series and guess what? I luckily succeeded in doing the same.

The next episode of Weeds is scheduled to air on July 6, 2009. The episode will be entitled “Van Nuys”. In this episode, Nancy is supposed to visit Dr. Audra Kitson (her obstetrician) to discuss about the abortion. Meanwhile Shane is also supposed to go to Mr. Sandusky in order to get his pot back.
On the other hand Andy is all set to take Margaret on a date with an intention to get an access to the bank account.

The episode next to it is entitled “A Modest Proposal” which is to air on July 13, 2009. Plotline of the show may take a step as long as six months in future. In the same episode, Nancy will discover that there is some other lady in Esteban’s life. Celia will be a little lucky in this episode as a career opportunity will knock at her doorstep. And last but not the least Silas and Doug will finally get successful and their medical marijuana dispensary would bloom.

I do have information regarding the next episode also which is entitled “Where The Sidewalk Ends” and is scheduled to air on July 20, 2009. In this episode, Nancy will finally come to know about the identity of the female in Esteban’s life. Celia will realize that earning money is not a piece of cake. And Silas and Doug will deal with the issue which is jeopardizing their medical marijuana dispensary.

We all are very much aware of the fact that television and media plays a major role in modulating the thought process of the major chunk of our generation. Whatever the youngsters see on their television screen directly affects them and some where they stop differentiating between the Reel Life and the Real Life.

One such TV serial on television these days is “Weeds”. “Weeds” is series that revolves around the lives of drug dealers, what effect it has on the people and also the role of US in drug wars. But in its last season the series moved from homegrown American drug stories to the California-Mexican border.

The latest debate that is going on is that series like “Weeds” and “Breaking Bad” have a wrong influence on the common people. In both the series the protagonists turn to manufacturing and selling drugs due to financial pressures and this encourages people to get into drugs. But drugs violence and fight against drugs is something that is much prevalent in society today and television is just a mirror of what all is happening in the society and such a major issue cannot be left out.
This is what the creator Jenji Kohan, of “Weeds” has to say about this war. “We chose this area because we felt that it was hot and it was blowing up and we’d have stories to tell for a long time. So we’re not surprised that there’s endless stories and it’s just getting hotter.” He further said that “Weeds” has no political agenda - We’re here to entertain, but doesn’t ignore the US role in the drug wars.”

Agreed that television has lots of influence on people but everyone in today’s world is very much aware of what they want in life. And even in the series the people who do wrong don’t stay on for a longer time. And same is the case with “Weeds” all the time we see Nancy fighting for her life with cops. Television is basically for entertainment and we should take it for entertainment only.
